  • Implement IP networks, including design, installation, configuration and programming the switches, routers, and other network components and testing the network to meet the customers’ specifications/requirement; supervise installation by staff; develop network concepts in consultation with customer requirements; prepare detailed specifications
  • Respond to customers’ requests for repair and reconfiguration of their networks; coordinate design and compatibility with associated networks; prepare design presentations
  • Troubleshoot network problems; identify and correct network problems
  • Design, implement and manage complete IT data infrastructure and recommend any needed adjustments
  • Provide analysis and assessment of network security vulnerabilities with recommendations for upgrades and regular security testing
  • Integrate network expansion projects
  • Prepare documentation and records for network operational staff
  • Design and implement network monitoring process including automated reporting
  • Occasional local and regional travel to client sites.
  • REQUIREMENTS: BS (US or foreign equiv. – 4 year single source only) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Info Tech, MIS, CIS, or other directly related academic discipline required, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience in a related occupation such as Network Lead, or Network Developer. In the alternative, employer will accept a MS degree in anyone of the academic disciplines above, plus 3 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered.
